“My first job in high school was with the county Assessor’s office, archiving and digitizing property details and sales led to a curiosity of why people title and transfer things the way that they do. The world of Personal Financial Management became a passion for me. I enjoy creating order out of complex issues, and knowing that as a Client Assistant allows me to use my passion to help families and individuals pursue their personal and financial goals makes coming into work a pleasure.”

Outside the Office
Born and raised in Saguache, Colorado, in the heart of the San Luis Valley, Megan grew up the eldest of 4 children, working hard on her family’s cattle ranch.
Now, she and her spouse enjoy a blend of rural and professional life, sharing a love for farming and exploring new areas together. Megan is also an avid crafter, spending her free time on creative projects like crochet, quilting, and card making. She still takes great pride in her family’s accomplishments and looks forward to welcoming two new “niblings” soon. Balancing her role at 1828 Capital with her life on the farm, Megan remains passionate about helping others live their most fulfilling lives, both financially and personally.
